Pacific Day

Pacific Day is an event for the wider ANU community to celebrate and promote awareness of the diversity of Pacific cultures.  The event is an exciting opportunity for local Pacific Islanders to build an understanding of Pacific culture in the wider ANU community.  Showcasing dance, song, food and artwork, Pacific Day shares some of the highlights of our Pasifika heritage.

Pasifika welcomes the involvement from members of the community. Individuals and groups may participate in the following ways:

  • musical performance
  • dance performance
  • catering
  • art displays
  • logistical support.

Pacific Day is run by the Pasifika Student Society. The next event is scheduled for October 2014. To find out more please contact Cathleen Nansen at Cathleen.Nansen@anu.edu.au
